Englisch als Fremdsprache – Gemeinsamer Europäischer Referenzrahmen für Sprachen (GER)
Sprachliche Zielsetzung
Das Englisch B1 Niveau ist ausreichend, um mit englischen Muttersprachlern über bekannte Themen zu sprechen. Am Arbeitsplatz sind Personen mit diesem Level auch in der Lage, einfache Berichte zu bekannten Themen zu lesen und einfache E-Mails in ihrem Fachgebiet zu verfassen. Jedoch genügt ein B1 Niveau nicht, um sich am Arbeitsplatz fehlerfrei in der englischen Sprache auszudrücken. Gemäß den offiziellen GER-Richtlinien verfügt eine Person mit dem B1 Englisch Sprachniveau über folgende Kenntnisse:
• Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
• Can deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
• Can produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
• Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
